Yarbrough and Sons ALWAYS gets the job done and does it RIGHT! Nick and the team came out and stayed until they finished the plumbing for three bathroom vanities and a kitchen sink. Thank you so much for always being there for us!

First off would like to thank Daniel the technician, he was on time, did a thorough & very good job & was able to diagnose and fix my problem which was a blown fuse and bad contactor. Had all the parts on hand to fix my old Ruud on hand so no waiting which was a bonus. I decided to sign up for the maintenance plan with Yarbrough. I had tried a few other HVAC companies over the years which I won’t name. Let’s just say I trust Yarbrough and Son’s & to me that is of the utmost importance. I am glad they are a local business in Blanchard. I look forward to years of great service from this awesome HVAC business.

Dane and Nick were great. They were polite, knowledgeable and respectful. My issue is with pricing. I have the Maintenance Membership which was supposed to give me free service fees on HVAC and plumbing and a 20% discount on repairs. I can say that the maintenance seems to be a free filter and a sell-up. The repairs don’t seem to have the discounts; in fact the final price seems to be at or above market. For my HVAC this time, I was quoted $1100 to keep it running, $1800 to keep it running better and $3200 to keep it running best. I have a 10 y/o heat pump that has worked beautifully, but was also quoted $14,000 (in monthly payments like car salesmen do) for a new unit (average cost). I was also quoted $120 / vent for duct cleaning (this supposedly had a 10% discount applied). None of my quotes showed the discount. For the plumbing, I asked for quotes on several items - water heater ($2300), water softener ($2700) and water filter ($1100). There were no options for brand or price and also ‘included the 20% discount’. Dane changed my filter for me which was stuck TIGHT (Thank you, Dane!) but even though I had the membership and already had the filter, it cost $87. House maintenance costs money, but in my opinion this company is way overpriced. Again, the techs have always been great, but I’m moving back to my old HVAC company.

Pulled a bait and switch. Setup appointment to get estimate on reworking plumbing prior to having bathroom re-tiled. Took morning off work so I could be home. Instead of showing for the appointment Nick (plumbing manager) called me to discuss job. I exchanged picture of my setup and explained what I was needing. He worked up a quote and I accepted. I scheduled them to complete their part the day before the tile guy was to begin. They showed up on the scheduled project day and before starting work told me the estimate provided was incorrect and it would cost $2000 instead of the $1400 originally quoted. If they did make a mistake on original quote I can't help but think it wouldn't have occurred had they come out like scheduled originally. Very shady the way this was handled. I would definitely not recommend this company.
